A woody floral fragrance. A fragrance with a silky effect, which illustrates both femininity and sensuality.
"Red Shoes" is the name of a 1948 ballet film for which Jacques Fath designed the fabulous costumes of the first dancer, Moira Schearer. In 1950, Fath designed a sumptuous silk red dress with the same name, worn by the Bettina model. This incredible dress inspired the perfume to create a fragrance with a sparkling opening with a feeling of freshness. Blue Ginger and Pink Pepper evoke the cold and metal colors of the silk and satin dress. The striking Absolute Damascena roses highlights the opulence of the masterful patchouli, both spreading a very strong trail.
The fragrance begins with vibrant black currant, red berries and grapefruit, offering a fresh and fruity introduction. Aldeids add a sparkling quality to this opening. While developing, the heart presents the absolute of Damascena rose, which provides a lush floral character, completed by the green notes of geranium. The heat of ginger adds a thin spice, while pink pepper introduces a lively touch. In the base, the patchouli gives a earthy wealth, enhanced by the creamy consistency of cashmere wood.
