Ava met the perfumer and owner of Le Galion, Paul Vacher who, dazzled by her, asked Ava to become an ambassador and face of Sortilège, a perfume tribute to the extravagant parties and the distinctive perfume of the high society of the 1950s. After his incredible success, Ava asked Le Galion to compose a tailor -made fragrance only for her. The perfumer, who appreciated the distinction and femininity, obeyed and the personalized perfume of Ava Gardner would become the Astre.
In 2022, the Galion launched the Astre, a contemporary rewriting of a formula remained private for decades. Working in collaboration with the estate of Ava Gardner and its heirs that offer access to their archives, the Astre captures and symbolizes the brilliance of these two great names of the twentieth century, whose influence still continues today.
