The Focarina of St. Joseph.
On the night of March 18, at the gates of the spring equinox is tradition, in the native land of Tiziana and Paolo Terenzi, to burn in large bonfires and remains of winter to leave room for the rebirth of spring. The perfumes in the air are intense and fresh, new yet ancient. All the men and women of the village gather around the large bonfire. The old people tell stories to the children and the bravest boys jump the fire as a sign of challenge and to demonstrate their value.
With this fire all the penalties and problems of winter are burned and the arrival of joy and joy that brings spring with it. From that fire there are all the hopes of the days to come, like an apotropaic and collective prayer.
