Description

When the Englishman Edward Foxhall discovered sandalwood on the island of Pines, in New Caledonia, in 1840, then he was unknown in Europe. At the end of the 19th century, the noble spicy wood had a nice pedigree: called "candy" in Sanskrit, or "sandal" in Arabic, it was used as a precious ointment for the hair and body. Remedy against anxiety, it still swells today, perfectly integrated into the smoke of Asian incense.

Composition

Head notes: cardamom. Heart notes: sandal essential oil. Basic notes: Guaiac wood.
