Penhaligon's Opus 1870 EDT is an Eau de Toilette masculine. The name is already a program. "Opus" is in fact the Latin translation of "masterpiece". Created in 2005, the perfume is an elegant and complex woody chypre. It opens with a luxurious agreement of sweet citrus and black pepper. The heart is then illuminated by the delicacy of the clove, by English rose and incense. Strong are the notes of cedar wood and sandalwood. Opus 1870 is wonderfully warm and comfortable: a perfume to be wrapped in themselves during cold winter nights.
