Description

This perfume takes its name from an island off the coasts of Madagascar, famous for the cultivation of a particular and precious variety of vanilla. Reunion is a gourmand fragrance with an intense, seductive and pleasantly sensual character. His vanilla sweetness, persistent yet never cloying, is enhanced by a bouquet of spicy and vaguely toasted notes. Soft and enveloping, Reunion is also perfect on a male skin.

Known in Central America since the thirteenth century, vanilla is a liaose plant of the orchid family used widely in the perfume and food industry. The extraction of vanillin, the aromatic aldehyde that gives the plant its characteristic perfume, takes place through the use of volatile solvents or handcrafted by infusion in alcohol. There are approximately 150 varieties of vanilla: the Bourbon variety is particularly appreciated, produced on the island of Reunion. It tells a toy legend that vanilla was born from the innocent blood of a priestess sacrificed to the goddess Tunayohua, protector of sowing.
