Bagage à main was born from an intimate memory of Pierre Guéros, from a family history made of leather, material and savoir-faire.
Before becoming a perfumer, Pierre Guéros imagined continuing his family tradition: for generations, his father, his grandfather and their predecessors were master furriers, specializing in the processing of leather and fur. For his eighteenth birthday, his father created for him a bespoke travel bag in caramel-coloured calfskin, with an extraordinarily soft hand and a deliberately retro shape, inspired by the aristocratic luggage of the Grand Tour. A precious object, which over time has become the symbol of a family bond and one of the first memories that Guéros tried to translate olfactorily at the beginning of his career. From this memory Bagage à main was born.
