Iso E Super is an abstract synthetic molecule characterized by a cedarwood note with an enveloping, warm, woody and velvety sensation.
Clary sage is a biennial herb, native to the Mediterranean and cultivated in southern France for perfumery.
Used here in both form of oil and absolute, it is a fresh and aromatic vegetal note with a distinctive fruity and herbaceous brightness. Clary sage contains natural linalyl acetate, which gives it a crisp, airy freshness, along with floral undertones reminiscent of blooming elderflowers. It is complex but not sweet, in perfect balance between herbaceous, floral and slightly musky facets.
Together, Iso E Super and clary sage create a delicate but intense contrast: the enveloping and transparent warmth of Iso E Super contrasts with the aromatic freshness of clary sage. The fragrance opens with a clean and herbaceous brightness, delicate floral and fruity notes, and then settles on the soft woody presence of Molecule 01, which accompanies the clary sage in the base.
“Clary sage is fresh, herbaceous and floral. It is not sweet, but it has that splendid fruity and aromatic note. It has a truly unique freshness, almost like an elderflower in full bloom. Matched with isopropanol and spirits, the two notes blend perfectly. The clary sage has enough character to carry the fragrance on its own, while the isopropanol and spirits give it space, warmth and persistence. It is a light fragrance, easy to wear and, given the 10% concentration we used, its persistence is maintained all the way through,” says perfumer Geza Schoen.
Molecule 01 + Clary Sage is an aromatic but transparent fragrance, where the freshness of herbs meets velvety woods, creating a discreet scent on the skin that is relaxing, modern and irresistibly pleasant.
