Inspired by velvet, a recurring distinctive element in the Dries Van Noten collection, the fragrance combines the woody freshness of violet with the warm nuances of sesame in a subtle play of contrasts.

An unexpected combination between a fresh flower and a toasted seed. Defined by contrasts and textures, Velvet Violet belongs to a gourmand woody floral family. From the first notes, the duality is present. Focusing more on the leaf than on the flower, the violet – green, fresh and delicate – takes on a modern profile. In contrast, sesame unfolds as a toasted accord with rich nutty facets. This interaction evolves seamlessly on the skin. The opening is vibrant, with violet refined by pink pepper. The heart introduces a deeper dimension through the sesame and barley. In the base, vetiver and tonka bean anchor the fragrance and leave a persistent brightness.

Each bottle is wrapped in delicate silk paper decorated to match the perfume bottle.
