Creation
Created by Parfumeur Guy Robert in 1961, Calèche is the first female fragrance of Hermès. His name recalls the emblematic Calesse della Maison: the elegant and light vehicle of the 19th century pulled by horses.
The olfactory notes
The Eau de Toilette Calèche associates with great femininity the refined notes of aldehyde with the floral ones of a swaying jasmine, caressed by the lightness of a rose.
The object
The bottle, inspired by the lanterns of vintage cars, is completed by a black cap that recalls the bombed helmet of the knights. The label on the rear, an iconic element of the perfume-founders collection, is illustrated with a design by Philippe Dumas.
The collection of perfume-founders
The collection of scent-founders is inspired by the tradition of the maison. Each creation contains Hermès' imagination in a name, a fragrance, a color. Over the years, Hermès has written the pages of a bold perfumery, born from the meeting with extraordinary parfumeur.
