Description

An intense, but discreet fragrance, with exotic and pleasantly spiced hints. Sri Lanka opens on sparkling notes of ginger, a typical root of the island from which the perfume takes its name, therefore to give way to a red tea heart of Ceylon, a precious ingredient with surprising toning properties. The basic note of Veiver and Cedrino wood gives perfume a pleasant persistence.

It tells a legend that the tea was discovered by an Indian Buddhist monk named Dharma. During a trip to China, the monk embarked on a long meditation, but arrived at the end of the seventh year, sold and fell asleep. Goldinated abruptly, he decided to deprive himself of the eyelids so as not to sleep anymore. Struck by so much devotion, Buddha had tea plants with the unmistakable eyelid -shaped leaves at the exact point in which the monk had built his own. Taste the leaves, Dharma found that being were able to grant those who meditate on the energy necessary to resist sleep.
