Description

Opus XIII Silver Oud of Amouage, is a bewitching perfume, a manifestation of the tension between idealism and realism, of the contradiction between thought and feeling and the power of mimetic desire..

Inspired by the notions of confusion, passion and destruction expressed in the French novel of the nineteenth century "Le Rouge et Le Noir" of Stendhal.

A bursting depth of patchouli and smoky cypriol confuses the senses. Instead of a head note, a wide variety of wood appears that suggest a profound evolution. An exquisitely rich Oud Assam in unison with a Madagascar vanilla leathery, while amber, birch, castor and guaiaco wood leave dark footprints on the skin, merging in an endless ending.

Composition

The head notes are Cypriol or Nagarmotha oil, Patchouli and Virginia cedar; The heart notes are Agar (OUD) and Vanilla del Madagascar; The basic notes are castor, birch, amber and Guaiaco wood.
