A fluttering and refreshing bite of bergamot, bitter orange and lemon, intensified by juniper and its aromatic bitterness. Angelica and Salvia give green and herbaceous shades to this olfactory cocktail, while a touch of Galbano hints at a trace of evanescent tobacco.
Composed for the first time in 1957/1967 by Paul Vacher, then revisited in 2016 by Rodrigo Flores-Roux, Cologne expresses not only the citrus fruits, but also the imaginary and anachronistic meeting of both perfumers. In the shade of an orange tree in the deprived hotel of Le Galion House, they think of the fragrance by smoking a cigar and sharing a refreshing gin. Simply carefree and delicious.
