Futurism was an Italian artistic movement of the early twentieth century, between 1908 and 1944, which aimed to capture the dynamism and energy of the modern world in the form of art.

The futurists were all focused on the latest developments of science and philosophy, and particularly fascinated by aviation and cinematography.
