The masterful fragrance of Edouard Fléchier, Rose Tonnerre, has a paradoxical interaction of rose and truffle.
In the middle of a misty garden, at night, a rose offers its most beautiful perfume. The air is stormy, stimulating the darkest perfumes of nature ... Rose Tonnerre is the result of a personal project by Edouard Fléchier. A new base, a sort of olfactory sketch, which presented to Frédéric Malle, and which reproduced the fragrance of a périgord truffle. This mixture of dark notes, woody and animals was intended for male fragrances, but the two partners had the apparently paradoxical idea of marrying her with the female note par excellence: the rose. In the hands of the perfumer master, the queen of flowers becomes dark and sensual. Bewitching.
