Inspired by his connection with Africa, due in particular to the travels and the years lived there by his father, Ben Gorham has thought Bal d'Afrique both as an imaginary journey and as a celebration of the deep cultural impact of Africa on dance, art and music.
This reinterpretation elevates the contrast between heated lightness and irresistible depth of AFRique Bal intensifying their gourmand characteristics, for a richer and overwhelming experience. The notes of bergamot, lemon and black currant release a vibrant intensity that merges with the sweetness of praline, moss and purple, and then ended up in a domineering base of cedar, vetiver and hot black amber.

In addition to the fragrance, the new bottle of Absolu de Parfum is also a tribute to crafts. The tactile cap is inspired by Yakisugi (Japanese art carbonization art) and reflects the essence of Absolu, characterized by profound intensity, transformation and lasting strength. With its golden and silver industrial design, the vaporizer completes the simple design and clean curves of the glass bottle. Inside the bottle, the intense shade of Absolu de Parfum offers a visual clue of the rich concentration of the fragrance.
