Description

Ambrette seeds are hand-harvested from small plots scattered throughout the dry tropical forests of northern Peru. Dried in the sun, sifted, cleaned and left to air, they finally release floral and powdery accents, along with notes of musk and amber.

Here, perfumer Marie Hugentobler chooses to fully express these rich and complex facets. After the sparkling and luminous opening of mandarin and angelica, the sensual and slightly carnal notes of ambrette unfold, resting with sobriety and elegance on a base of sandalwood and ambroxan.
