An olfactory expression of the value of time. Made through a revolutionary process: a double infusion with sandalwood and handcrafted oak barrels.

Each fragrance is highly concentrated, contains 30% pure fragrance oils and has undergone a meticulous six-month aging process, which includes a double infusion with sandalwood chips and oak barrels, for a deep and layered olfactory experience. Housed in a new bottle – the first new design introduced by Amouage in 15 years – the Essences represent the pinnacle of olfactory craftsmanship.

A single point: the origin, the pure potential, the spark from which creation flows.

Spices light up the composition with a green aromatic freshness, while carrot and bergamot add a golden glow. At the heart of this creation, vanilla emerges as a paradox, at once raw and refined, primordial but velvety. Wrapped in the floral warmth of ylang-ylang and jasmine, it takes on a luminous, almost celestial quality. The drydown is a foundation of sacred incense, deep sandalwood and castoreum, which anchors the fragrance to the very roots of perfumery history.

Heart notes: Madonna Lily, Ylang-Ylang, Juniper, Jasmine
Base notes: Ambergris, Guaiac wood, Patchouli, Vanilla, Tonka bean
